Paintballing - The lockdown end goal

14th Sep, 20 / First Blue Healthcare

Lockdown, for many it was a case of practising banana bread baking, Netflix binging, or daily online shopping. The daily briefings were a mark in the diary of many and as the days and weeks passed the idea of activities such as cinema visits, a meal at a restaurant and indeed a day of paintballing were looking increasingly unlikely.

For some of our young people though, the lack of plans and unclear future didn't put them off their idea of suiting up in their camouflage and taking aim with a barrel full of paint. The plan was to save up their money for a day of paintball when they could FINALLY complete the activity.  The challenge was saving £10 each, per week ready for Mr Johnson to lift the lockdown!

Since restrictions have been reviewed and gradually leisure activities were back on the agenda, the date was set for last weekend. Young persons ready, paintballing could finally begin.

With the weekend exceeding enjoyment levels and certainly well worth the wait, the next activity is already planned for October (Restrictions permitting!)... Keep an eye out for the future post.
